POP UP SHOP GETS PIXELLATED FOR CHRISTIAN ZUZUNAGA

International fabric designer Cristian Zuzunaga made Glyphics his signage and interior design team for a pop-up shop for London Fashion Week in Spring 2009.

South Kensington Estates (SKE) offered Cristian and fashion designer Peter Maxwell Smith use of empty premises in Thurloe Place, London SW7, for the duration of the event. It's SKE's enlightened policy to help young designers in this way giving the two a showcase for a range of shirts designed by Peter in fabrics in Cristian's distinctive pixellated style.

The Glyphics team took a design lead from the pixellation and transformed it into 3M's Radiant Light Film plus colour ink-jetting onto clear vinyl for application both inside and outside the shop's 5-metre glass facade. It created stunning effects night and day. The same design ran in vinyl on an interior wall.
