HAND-PAINTED GRAPHICS FOR HAND-CRAFTED BAKERY
Two great craft traditions combine at Euphorium Bakery in London where Glyphics have hand-painted a series of wall graphics to celebrate the art of hand-made bread.
The graphics feature giant stylised wheat ears and poppy heads, painted free-hand by Glyphics' sign artist Eddie Bird in a dark brown emulsion on a pale cream surface. Elsewhere there are 'ghost signs': quirky quotations about food and drink that the Glyphics team created using a brushed stipple technique straight onto bare brick.
The interiors scheme was designed for Euphorium by Crumpled Dog.
