General Terms and Conditions

All quotations given, goods supplied and work carried out are subject to the conditions outlined below which together with the particulars specified in the quotation, shall constitute the entire contract between ourselves and the customer.

Acceptance of our quotation will constitute confirmation by the customer that no reliance is placed upon any representation made or alleged to be made on our behalf which is not specified in the quotation. This quotation will remain open for acceptance for a period of thirty days from the date given. All prices quoted exclusive of VAT.

No responsibility can be accepted for damage to walls, floors or ceilings in the course of delivery or installation. Storage will be charged for after a period of three months. No liability is accepted for delay in completing work or in delivery. In the event of any manufacturing or installation defect the company will rectify the defect but will not be liable for any other loss or damage whether direct or indirect. All goods will remain the property of Glyphics until full payment is made.

Should payment not be received the company will be entitled to re-possess the items supplied and installed. All terms and conditions outlined on this page take precedence over any alternative conditions proposed by the customer or client.

Design & Artwork
Our prices do not include for any design or artwork unless stated. This is carried out on a time and material basis and will be quoted for specifically.

Colours
Background colours may be specified using a RAL or BS reference. Where special colour matching is required we will match as closely as possible within the limits of paint technology. Printing inks can be matched to a special colour for which there maybe an additional charge.

It is not always possible to match printing inks such as the Pantone® matching system due to the different nature of inks and paints. Printing inks are designed to be printed onto paper and the colours rely on considerable 'show through' from the material beneath as well as reflected light. Silk-screen inks and paint are opaque and rely on reflected light only.

Deposit
We may ask for a deposit. An invoice covering the whole value of the job will be raised on completion.

Delivery
Orders are normally completed in five weeks. This assumes that we are in possession of an official order and all details. Experience tells us that it takes at least two weeks to finalise production details.

Inspection
Sign orders are deemed to be fully correct and complete unless we are notified within 48 hours of delivery.

Payment
Orders are accepted on the understanding that our trading terms will be adhered to. The trading terms of the company are 30 days nett.
